Fall in Arlington and Holiday Travels

Our second fall in Arlington was smoother than the first with school routines now old hat

Other fall activities included a Nationals game, a concert and a hike on the Billy Goat Trail

Kirin now has an upgraded 3d printer with multicolor capabilities - and we 3d printed a model of our house that should be ready by Fall 2026!

My mom and brother visited and we celebrated what would have been my dad's 79th birthday at one of his favorite restaurants, Olive Garden

The birthday celebrations continued with Tex-Mex on my mom's birthday

But the real fun began with a Christmas family gathering in Vegas with sightseeing, presents and LOTS of games

We closed out 2025 with skiing and snow tubing on manmade snow, an indoor water park, a noon toast with sparkling grape juice and even more board games

Summer Adventures

Our summer began with everyone having their own adventures

Milan was at a summer camp in Virginia where he seemed to have so much fun he completely forget to let the rest of us know he was alive

Kirin and Sunil attended Cub Scouts camp in more rugged environs

Meanwhile, my mom and I enjoyed dessert with a view, sunsets and 4th of July fireworks

Once we were reunited, we celebrated birthdays #13 and #10!

But the bulk of our summer was spent in our old stomping grounds where we had a grand time in our old haunts and with old friends

Season of Flowers

This year's cherry blossoms peak coincided with a beautiful day in the District

We braved the crowds and joined in on the fun

But even after the fleeting blossoms fell, the city had more blooms in store

We spent an evening walking from Georgetown to the planet art at the Kennedy Center (minus Mars, which apparently rolled away before we arrived)

Then we greeted visiting family from India

and visited even more family gathered from all over the world in New Jersey!

Mother's Day lunch back in Arlington

In other news, we have concluded many weekends of visiting open houses and hiding in small spaces and will be building a new home!

Until the house is built, we will stay put in our current neighborhood.  Bonus:  money-making opportunities of 3D prints at the local lemonade stand
