Milan at 32 Months

How many of you have checked the charge on a battery with a voltmeter lately?

Just because he's home sick doesn't mean he can't pull his own weight

Stumbling upon a fountain on a nice day

Enjoying a beautiful day in San Francisco

Milan's "Say cheese!" face

Milan got to drive a big rig (though he asked, "why isn't it moving?")

Milan in Mexico

Milan is working on filling up his passport, this time by traveling to Mexico

We accompanied several friends to a beautiful house with a beautiful view near Puerto Vallarta

Milan enjoyed his pool and beach time and even posed for some pictures

He also had lots of fun with his buddy Kavya

Here's the whole gang!

Milan at 31 Months: Milan goes to India!

Milan crossed the ocean for the first time this month on the way to India

Our first stop was Dharampur where he had lots of cousin fun with Keshav, who had also traveled far and wide

Here we are trying to jump for the self-timer after watching the sunrise

While riding the rickshaw, Milan saw a camel! ઊંટ (uunt) is now his favorite Gujarati word.

More cousin fun

Notice the tippy toes

On the way back, Milan became an expert flyer, mastering both the art of sleeping on planes and in-flight entertainment

It's a good thing, because the traveling isn't done:  next stop, Mexico!

Milan at 30 Months

Milan spent the holidays on the east coast and had lots of cousin and family time!

First, he spent time in Maryland opening tons of gifts and bouncing away on a bounce house

He took many joy rides on the Metro, his first subway experience

Here's almost the whole U.S. contingent of the Shah family on Christmas day!
(only missing one person)

His next stop was Virginia where he got to bond with his cousin, Keshav
(and by bond we mean fight over all of the toys)

He took a train ride in the mall...

...and got to ride the carousel.

We are looking forward to more bonding adventures with Keshav on our next stop:  India!
Stay tuned!
