Kirin at 3 Months

Here we are at 3 months, getting bigger and bigger

We said good-bye to loving grandparents, C. nani and B. nana, who returned to their home in Maryland after spending 3 months with us

Milan and Kirin's Halloween Festivities

We started off the Halloween season with a trip to the pumpkin patch

Despite having a train conductor costume, Milan spent his first Halloween event as a box

 He then donned his train conductor costume for his parade at school

and joined his little brother at a parade in Menlo Park

Kirin wore his costume for all of 5 minutes (and loyal readers will recognize the costume from a few years ago) but it's the thought that counts, right?

Kirin at 2 Months

Kirin's Hospital Stay and Homecoming

Kirin "Speedy Delivery" Goda was born on August 21, 10 days ahead of schedule.  Once he decided he was ready for the world, he wasted no time, arriving only 2 hours after mom and dad arrived at the hospital.

Celebrating the Big 3.0 and Interview

We celebrated Milan's 3rd birthday at a park with many friends and family

 Milan had a great time with the balloon artist who made him a special hat

along with an airplane and a monkey on a palm tree.

He finally blew the candles himself this year though also managed to get his spit on a special corner of the cake

We also commemorated Milan's birthday by doing a birthday interview with him.  We can't attest to the accuracy of any of his statements (especially the part about broccoli and carrots) but I think it captures some of his personality.
