Kirin at 10 Months

Anyone who has ever tried to take pictures of a 10 month old knows that sometimes you can't get always get the poses you want

We had a splendid Father's Day starting with a 5K run at Stanford 

(Note:  each of us pushed a stroller, though Sunil probably could have pushed both and still made it through the course)

Milan did his first 200m fun run.  He stopped abruptly halfway through because he was tired, and after several seconds of standing around shot out for a strong finish.  His preschool teacher happened to be there and took the following video

Kirin's First East Coast Adventure

We took a trip to the east coast over Memorial Day weekend, and it was Kirin's first trip across the country.  Both boys were scooped up in their pajamas early in the morning to catch our flight.

They then wreaked havoc at their grandparents' non-childproofed house..

while we attended Sunil's 15th college reunions!

Upon returning, Kirin and mom spent some more time in Maryland

while Sunil and Milan spent time in Virginia with cousins.

We then reunited and took lots of silly pictures of the kiddos

Kirin at 9 Months

Kirin is 9 months old!

On his 9 month birthday, Kirin learned a new trick

 

We may have some stowaways for our upcoming east coast trip

Milan was actually disappointed when we told him we couldn't take him in the suitcase

Kirin at 8 Months

Kirin is 8 months old!

 This month saw more mobility and more skills

Milan got some new clothes from his cousins and got to ride the newly designed bus to daycare 

He also got a new bike and goes on bike rides almost every day around Menlo Park and Palo Alto.  At the touch-a-truck this year, he saw his best bud Bradley, the recycling man who has given him coloring books and mini recycling bins.

Photo Shoot

We did a photo shoot with one of Milan's preschool teachers, who also takes beautiful pictures.

Kirin at 7 Months

Kirin is 7 months old!

Brothers : )

We're sadly saying good-bye to Milan's daily nap.  On the left is his prized garbage truck painted with lotion and vaseline during his resting time.  Another day, he emerged from his room wearing 8 pairs of underwear (in the hopes of sparing myself a lawsuit when he is an adult, I will refrain from posting those pictures).  He's also come out and slept in the living room completely covered in a throw blanket and fallen asleep where no one could find him.

Meanwhile, Kirin is up to no good with this whole crawling thing.

Here he is after wreaking havoc with his brother's books on the coffee table, and then inchworming over to the rest of the house on the lookout for more destruction to be had.
